Carlyn
Carlyn was commissioned by Four Winds summer camp in Washington who selected Scarano Boat to design a replacement for their famous Olin Stephens–designed yawl Dorade, which had been deemed unsuitable for their purposes by the U.S. Coast Guard. Four Winds felt the yawl rig lent itself to northwest cruising and sail training with a young crew. Her design is styled after the mid-century American sailing yacht.
